As a mother and a certified Birth Doula Melissa has experience with natural birth, hospital and homebirth, both assisted and unassisted. She is an advocate for gentle childbirth, informed choice and consent in birthing practices, safe and nurturing birthing environments, breastfeeding, and holistic care of ourselves and our children.
Currently offering her care for Homebirth and Mareeba Birth Centre births ~ in the Kuranda – Tablelands – Cairns and Northern Beaches region, Melissa considers it an honour to be invited into the lives of families to share this joyous and transformative time with them.
